Nice to meet a couple of you-I planned on getting to MM early but... so I introduced myself to a couple of folks...and you guys were off-I am sorry that I missed the ride (6 year old soccer practice) but it was great to see so many riders take off.
As a sidenote-the folks that watched you all leave were betting that there were at least 2 tickets in the group today-I said that a similar group went last week with no problems and they were impressed-not that anyone really cares.
Hopefully next time-
PD
Haha...The old farts at MM with the 2" chicken strrips??...They would say something like that!
Because "Pushing the envelope" for them is barely cresting the speed limit..hehe![]()

Maybe it had something to do with my leaving on one tire?![]()

** Beware of cool down laps, injury may result**
Whatever their justification is for that is fuckin' lame. Did THEY ride yesterday, even though the threat of rain was hanging over us all? Sounds like they were just too chicken shit to come on over, introduce themselves and join the ride. So they'd rather sit there and toss bad karma our way. Again, whatever the reason, that's lame as hell...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
I can see why they thought we would be catching all the tickets though...........rarely do cops pull grey haired guys over on BMW cycles for their rowdy behavior![]()

You and another plus someone missed a shift and the accordion effect looked like it made things cozy-
I think they were jealous that you guys were going to have some fun
well, they don't seem to have any problem w/ pulling over balding ole redheads on Katanas...![]()

I was the one who missed a shift. I went to pull a little power wheelie and the bike slipped out of gear then i couldn't get it back in gear. I think the boots I wear for street riding don't let the shift lever return to home properly and that lets the bike slip out occdasionally.
Degsy
I've never gotten a ticket on a group ride with NESR- been on a few.

sevens that is right by my house. Where do you live anyway?
Degsy.......as for you, I remember you telling me wheelies just weren't your forte so don't have me pulling you out from under a pile of fat asses just because you thought you had a good one in ya! By the way, stick to the "wrong boots" story I think its working.![]()

Heh heh, yeah Scott, you're right I am not a wheelie king.
I can sometimes get a first gear on going for 20 or 30 yards or so, but that's about it.
...and I DO have problems shifting with those boots on, might be something to do with the reverse shifting also.

Are you dangling a Honda carrot in front of my nose????
I don't think it has anything to do with your boots....
They put all the good tranny gears in Nicky's bike!
What you got is parts from the blender Honda makes...
Sorry.....
Just couldn't hold off any longer....

I live in Warwick near City Park off West Shore.
Aaah OK seven. I am off reservoir in Cranston but grew up in Warwick.
TLRman.....I'd rather ride a Honda blender than push a TLR![]()

Not really. I just hate it when people talk shit about others like that. Just because they weren't riding with us, they gotta go and say something negative about the ride. Kinda reminds me of those two old guys (Muppets) that sit up in the balcony and complain about everything...Originally posted by SEVENSGT

I Saw Nicky pushing his bike 5 times last year......
What's with that?
At least Suzuki pulled the TLR before it was made a Laughing stock out of it.... Bwaaaahaaaa!
I'm surprised Suzuki released it again for 2003?
Must be something we don't know about huh?
Oh BTW I don't need 60 mm throttle bodies to make 130 hp
TLR's do it with 52's !!
Hey Degsy! Looks like I got another one.......
Oh and since you are a newby...I'm just joshing ya!

The 60s are only there so Colin could use them on his REAL bike. And one thing you can say about RC51s last year.........they burned quite nicely in most of the AMA crashes. It adds to the excitement. If not all we would have to look at is Aaron Yates laying across the damn track hehe.
