I need to ship a bike from LA and I am looking for a dealer to use as a point of contact. Its a BMW, not that it matters I guess but I guess a BMW dealer may be a good choice. Any recommended ones? Ideally one close to the city, one I spoke to already seemed good but they were kind of far......

what is the point person supposed to do? can I do it?

I haven't had any experience with bmw dealers, so I can't speak their reliability...but if it's something I can help out with, I'd be willing.

I'll also throw up a post on the local forum to get some feedback on dealers, but actually, I think advrider might be a better bet for that sort of info...more adult riders on bmw's there rather than overly emo noob's on ZX-10's with vests shutting down freeways
