that's the wrong decision -- now e buell is pigeon-holed into sticking around with HD after they've already demonstrated they won't think twice about screwing him over. he should've taken the shitfest-opportunity they created to split and join another manufacturer.

This is very troubling to me. I believe you 100%. I dont like it, but I belive the same. THIS is why I recently left selling bikes and am learning a new trade, hopefully to get a real job, instead of playing around with bikes everyday. Good luck to those of you who can stick it out!

Seems like it would have been a good fit, but its pretty obvious HD was afraid Buell might actually succeed without them.

According to the 3 part interview in Cycle World online with Erik Buell, EB thinks it is so that HD dealerships do not loose the parts and service support for Buell, so that may be why they didn't sell the brand.
