Buell Blast Concept Bike

Hey y'all. Apparently Buell has done away with the Blast and some company from the other side of the pond has come up with this Blast concept bike. Wow!

Sometimes big holes in the middle are a good thing!

From what I read in one of this month's bike mags, the company bored out the half of a Sportster motor and it produces around 50hp, which should move this thing pretty quickly......considering the big whole in the middle that weighs nothing. Looks like fun.

Hate to break it to you, but the Blast is still in production. It is no longer known as the "Buell Blast" but simply the Blast. Buell is wanting to distance themselves from this bike that was built to be a beginner's bike. That "concept"... unlikely.

These have been out for a while now... these "concept" art drawing thingies.

They all look great. There's one that looks more like a scrambler that would be an awesome bike. Unfortunately, the 500 is such a weak, weak motor and it's such an uncomfortable bike to begin with...

You'd have to be 5' and have no spine to be comfortable on the thing.
