A buncha squids on ***** Road.

Uncle Snake and I headed over to ***** Road this past weekend to goof off. Actually, he goofed off, and I took pictures. I suck at riding motorcycles.

Took us about an hour to get over there, the road was in ok condition, but there were more than a few turns with lots of rocky crap in the middle of them. Jake knows that road so well, I couldn't stay within 100 feet of him, so eventually I gave up and started taking pictures.







This guy came by pretty quick on 600RR, so I snapped a quick pic. He saw me, turned around, and made a hand signal like, "Wait a second."



On his second pass through, I thought he might drag a knee or rip a wheelie. Instead, he did this:



I guess it was kind of cool.

Perhaps this is why I couldn't keep up.

Damn, you did some riding! I made it home in about an hour, only to find that the breeder didn't put the dog on the flight that night because it was too hot out, so I could have gone and done some miles with you. We did get the puppy last night, and he is here at work with me. He is fighteningly well behaved; no whining last night, and he is currently resting quietly at my feet as I work.

Which ones? The "solid" ti pucks were reviewed in Superbike a while back and are hollow and don't last very long......... less than 2 laps I believe. Thanks! Regards, Jake

i have them. they are NOT hollow. its a plastic knee puck with a Ti shell around it. im still using mine. you dont have to bury your knee with them to make sparks. just touch down

I dunno. Honestly doesn't look like it's taking all that much to get his knee down. Look at the pic again. Looks like a decent sized dude at a pretty reasonable angle. He just throws his knee out and touches down. I bet we all lean that far over on just about every ride. We're just not gettin' off like that. I know a coupla people that can seemingly touch down in a straight line! (Josh, you listening?)...
