    Helmet help...

I need a new helmet. My problem is I need a large oval shaped one. When I ride a standard my current helmet is ok. When I ride a sportbike, in a leaned over position, my helmet hits my chin and the back of my head. After a long ride this is pretty uncomfortable on my jaw. So I am looking for recommendations on helmets that might have the fit I am looking for. I sell Shoei and HJC and neither of those fit well either. I know Arai has three distinct shell shapes, any others? I need to go try some on.

    Thanks
    Doug

You just have to make sure they're black & yellow.

    Re: Helmet help...

I learned the hard way about how they fit. HJC c-15 runs a little bigger ( oval ) than the c-12 or the c-14, I paid $160 for it spring last season used it maybe 6 times. it's just sittting around collecting dust. find out how they measure , it deff has more room in the chin area. I don't remember if the back hit my coller when ridding. the only one I realy liked that didn't hit the back coller ,felt lighter, looked like the vents where bettter ,and was extreemly comfortable was an arai.

Arai Profile is the football head shaped shell.
I've got Large one if you want to try it on and you're near Boston.
