Thought I would throw a few pics of my first Yamaha. I picked up a 2004 R6 w/9K miles on it the other night. Bike is very, very clean.
I need to replace the Zero gravity touring windscreen and also ditch the Vortex lowering links.
Might put a slip-on or full pipe on it. Any input to pipe choice for a older R6?
Note this day, the end of all your bike problems posts, to be replaced with what an awesome day I had riding my R6 posts
Nice bike Casey

Nice. I'm always surprised when I see an older bike with all the stock parts still on it. Looks super clean, like showroom almost.
I have a Two Bros on my '02 and love the sound, only problem is the carbon tends to fade. Has a nice low rumble at idle, but still screams. I like the Yoshi's too. Acro's are on the quieter side but very nice.
Nice Bike Casey!!!
Can't wait to see it in person.
Nice bike! But why ditch the windscreen? A ST screen was the best choice I ever made...

My buddy has a Devil on his '02 R6 and it's the best sounding pipe I've heard on the R6. The high-mount he has looks amazing too.
Graves exhaust, have it on the R1 and love it. They fully support the R6.
Congrats on the bike!
Loved my R6, great bikes. I had the Two Brothers M5 and it sounded awesome, but was obnoxiously loud.
Thanks for the compliments, the only problem is it's so clean I don't think I'm going to ride it through winter.
Trying to find a less common exhaust than the usual Two Brothers/Yoshi, etc for the R6.
Akra, Devil or Leo Vince maybe a possibility.
I found a extremely reasonable price on a Giannelli on Ebay from Fast by Ferracci. Anyone used them before?
Congrats on the yami, best thing i ever did.
I had a Ti-Force on my 98 R1 and it added about 10hp on that bike according to the dyno. Not sure what you'll get out of an R6, I don't recall seeing to many with a big gain in power from a slip-on or full system of stock. Personally, i'd go for looks over power gains with a system on a streetbike, but that's just me![]()
