It was on kawiforums or zxforums. He didnt like it because it caused weird sounds at certain RPM's and also caused odd vibrations in the undertail and his rider would end up feeling the brunt of them. Note he didnt remove the cat, he debaffled the exhaust can (at the end of the exhaust)

That is why some exhaust systems have a resonance collector, much like the large coffee can-looking thing depicted in Kenn's photo.

Yes you can punch a cat all day long but certain exhaust systems aren't designed to have a great sound when removing the catalyst. Some bikes you can get away with it on, others not so much.

ILOL! Yeah the link pipe will not involve any cutting. Unbolt the cat, reroute oxygen sensor, connect the exhaust and your go. Yeah its a resonator.
