    DEAL ALERT!

Look below the slick prices and they are selling D208 GP 17" for $249. Don't think I have ever seen a deal that good for GP's.

    DEAL ALERT!

Sorry, they're lying. They aren't DOT race tires at $249 a set.

    1. DOT race tires are only supposed to be sold to licensed racers
    2. They retail at over $600 a set. Our track prices of about $320 a set are ROCK BOTTOM. No-one could sell them for $249 a set.

Check out their prices for DOT D208GP 'A' tires, they're REAL race tires.

Read the compound...STD which means standard, not soft medium or hard. Them's street tires, which cost about...well, whaddya know? $249 a set!!!

It 'aint a deal I'm afraid.

    DEAL ALERT!

Mark.....I got the velocity stacks today and you wouldn't believe how easy the F'ers went on. Also got the o-rings for the FCR's and to really warm your heart.......Throttle cables! No more of the "rigged" unit. Just need that materlink from the Duc joint and I'm a good ta go. Minus a few odds & ends.

Degsy, don't rain on my parade. I think you are talking about a race-specific set. I always thought GP tires offer better grip than a ZR so maybe they are advertising incorrectly. But maybe there is a known "standard" compound for the GP. If that is so, I still think it's a great deal.

    DEAL ALERT!

Sorry bud, I didn't mean to sound like that. I just mean that they are not specifically what they say they are. I think they are using sneaky means to market the D208's as DOT race when they are not.

Check out the East Coast site for Dunlop performance, they have the slicks at the same price but no reference to 'race' D208's for $259 a set. They also state the rule that these are only for sale to licensed racers.
