If I ever go back, I'd probably take the DRZ-with both sets of wheels-and nothing else. Fuck going fast. That, IMHO, is not what riding that region is about.

Married, with kid (aka 135 Great Dane puppy).
This next week down will be my 10th. Keeps getting better every time I go.
And now, back from NC to the overlook in TN. Man it gets to be a fun road past 7:00pm. I roasted my brake rotors on this run.

That's a V-Strom, same as Intrepidse17's. Although his is a 1k and mine's a 650. But both are 19/17. Just like almost every other adventure styled street bike out there these days.
