there comes a point where you just shake your head. this guy knew it was coming every time. He always waited at that intersection with the pedestrian bridge for one or 2 extra cars to run through the red light.

you want bad I've heard Lebanon is about as bad as it can get. They have lights and signs but there are no driving laws so its just a free for all. you wanna drive down the one way the wrong way, sure why not go for it they'll pull over. you wanna drive through the red light cause you can't wait, sure why not.

I guess it's more of a cultural thing than anywhere else, like how in the northeast we have the "Boston left." It just becomes accepted, people expect it, and don't make a fuss about it.

Honestly, living in Boston I was like "What's the problem?" I'll have to dig up some video of a commute out of town.

I was talking to a Boston motor officer last Fall and he said the #1 close calls he has are pedestrians who walk out on front of him while he's blowing down the street with lights and siren on!
