bank repo bikes?

Anyone know how it works if you buy a bike that is a bank repo from another state does it come with a title. I'm looking at one on ebay

Not 100% sure but I would assume it would since the bank has the title till the loan is paid off.

Thanks I kinda figure that but wanted to make sure if I buy it on ebay I dont have a problem with it when I go too get a registration for it

that's what I was worry about,I call the guy and he's from the repo company and there selling the bike for the bank and he said it's a clean title the bike is on eBay so I just wanted too make sure it safe to buy, I can't go see the bike it's too far away from here is there anything else I should ask about the repo stuff before I buy the bike

In would be very careful. I know that when a car is sold as a repo it is at an auction where you can see them prior to the bidding and you get the details of the seller. The title is exchanged with the payment face to face with someone from the auction house.

I have never heard of a bank selling them on E-Bay. At a minimum I would want to see a picture of the bike with the VIN and a copy of the title so you can compare the VIN.
Anything short of that I would RUN...

Thanks wild bill it's the repo company that selling it,I'm going ask alot questions and ask yo see the title and vin number ,I won't buy it if I don't think it's safe there's too much money too lose.

Hello,
New to the board but did buy a bike on E-Bay once. E-Bay itself gives quite a few gaurantees and warranties over and above what the seller may give. Can't remember them all but should be listed somewhere on their site. Felt pretty secure after reading what E-Bay offered.
