    Courtesy of Sky Cycles, a 2006 Suzuki DL1000 VStrom. A deal I could not pass up and a bike that caught my eye for the past few years.

    My brother put 3000 on his this season and is very happy.

    (He has 9 bikes)

    Put on the Panzer style Aluminum Panniers


    He geared it down 20 percent

    Actually, Sky does a lot of business with me and they treated me very well. I have ZERO complaints. Plus, they were the only shop with a 1000 in the area. The 650 is the more popular of the two bikes.

    I'm up in the air about hard luggage for it. I wanted a top-loader like a Gobi but they are major $$$.

    Hella's, shorter gearing, centerstand, heated grips, Michelin's, metal skid plate, crash bars, acc. plug for the GPS etc...

    The aftermarket for the Strom is HUGE.
