Hey all just wondering whos dynoed.. Mine was less than I would have liked for rwhp![]()
Guess I will just have to do some more to it!!
Bigger.. louder... faster![]()
I've seen dyno charts for the SV1K that range from a little over 100HP to about 115HP. Since not all dynos are spot on, I would say you are right where you should be. What's most important is using that chart as a baseline for future modifications.
Looks like they have the fueling worked out on that bike because your power builds up nice and smooth!
Also, why didn't they print your torque curve on the chart?

Baseline for my 600 was 108 rwhp. Its not on your sheet either but i'm sure your torque curve is much better than my 600.
I'm getting my custom tune finished in a couple of weeks and I'll post what I get after that.
The dyno work on my 1000 should be done for this season (fingers crossed)...
On the last go around my resident dyno-wizzard found me an extra 11 hp to round her out at a whoping 184hp at the rear wheel...
Plus, this thread gives me an excuse to post my videos...
Listen for the rear wheel to break loose from the dyno drum.
And... we broke something. Thankfully nothing expensive...

Is this Dyno located at cyclewise?
I need a power commander tuned on the race bike.

So it is in NH then...
Is there a good dynojet tuner close to Burlington?

This is a listing from Dynojets website on who has Dynos from them in VT you can check and see who tunes as well. The other option is having it remapped off the dyno.

Nah, all they need to do is hookup the spark sensor, a lil clamp that goes around a plug wire. They should have two sets, one for sensing the hot output from the coil, one that reads the lower voltage trigger wire, whichever is easier to access on your bike.
That's like playing whack a mole blindfolded. If you've got a PCIII it's well worth the money to have it custom mapped oon a dyno.Originally Posted by SilverGhost
