Has anyone out there bought a bike off ebay ,how safe is it to do,what do you look out for to make sure your not going to be taken.Im looking at a bike it;s in texas .

Thanks but the bike is in texas and i,m here how do know that the bike is good.if i get the bike and the engine is not working ,can i get my money back whats my best way to go about it

I bought a bike off of eBay out of Albany. Two months later sold the same bike on eBay to a guy in New Mexico. Made $600.00 (but I hated the bike)

If you know anyone in the area to check it out it could save you some money.

I bought a bike in Buffalo, NY while I was in Kuwait. I just had a friend go look at it and listen to it run and take a video.

Maybe the seller will send you a video of it?

bought two bikes and two cars off e bay. three were close and one in illinois. the 3 were close to home so I was able to look them over. The one in il was thru a third party and the pictures were very revealing. I guess you could request a portfolio of pics. some sellers don't mind doing this.

Bought my race bike off of ebay. no problems. of course there were reliable sources from the track that were familier with the bike so it was easy for me.

Sold a few brand new circuit boards for a Norcold RV fridge on eBay. One of the buyers is telling his credit card company to stop payment. Fleabay sent me a letter telling me to resize my images and they will forward it to a outside company to make a decision. He claimed it was not for his unit. I put the part number down in the description and took close-up of the part number on the board. I worked at Advance Auto Parts for a few years. People who didn't know how to test electronics would buy and return stuff trying to find their problem. But if he wins I get a part back that could be his junk board or could be junk after he put it in his fridge and a short or something ruined it. Not resealable. Be warned. There are scammer buyers too.
