Yes, that is the bike I'm taking. I'm bringing both sets of wheels though so one day it may be paved riding and the next could be dirty stuff:drool:

Are you bringing the R6 for the long days or will the KTM be good for that too?
BTW, What a nice setup!

Thanks:hellyeah:
The KTM should be fine for those long street days. Only problem I see is it only holds 1.8 gallons of gas so I'm limited to 75-100 miles per tank. As of now the plan is to leave the R6 at home:hmm:

I'll bring a siphon hose and a tow strap.
Just bring two bikes! One for street and dirt and one for more street and more dirt! I do :D

We don't want to have to tow a trailer down so there's no room for the extra bike. besides, I've got the wheels swap down pretty good and can make the change over in about 35 minutes:)
The R6 is simply for posing, I may even do a Friday afternoon practice to scrub the tires in for added bling:D

I guess you just have to set your prioritys. Motorcycles are more of a life style than a hobbie, for me anyway.
If you have to narrow the garage down to only 2 bikes it would have to be a sport bike and a dual sport ( or street legal dirt bike)
Then you get the best of both worlds. Dirt riding helps your street skills a lot.
oh and welcome to the "club"
Check your inhabitions at the door and join the madness.
:D :drink:

That mileage will be just fine with our vtwin gas hogs...we are only good for 100 as well. You just might want a little comfort on those 12-15 hour days.
