This last Saturday night I headed up to Weir's Beach to check out the sights, and caught a quick glimpse of a radical looking 3-wheeled vehicle.
Unlike the boring "tricycle" setup of many converted Gold Wings and Harley's, this contraption had two wheels in the front, and one in the back. The whole unit sat no more than two feet (max) off the ground, and was very futuristic and sporty looking. It appeared to powered by a motorcycle engine, and had seats for two people, side-by-side.
Does anyone know who makes these, or if there's a website with info on them? I'd love to build one of these babies over the winter. Perhaps someone got a digital photo of it and could forward it to me?![]()
Thanks!
Was it one of these...T-Rex
They look awesome! Haven't seen one in person yet.

Could be good for a new class at NHIS! Price is definitly a "turn-off" though. Maybe this will be the next thing for all those rich urban somethingerothers.Originally posted by Stoneman

The T-Rex is already headed down that path. The local (to me) 'shop' that sells 'em up here has already taken a couple 'custom order' ones too...

I got frustrated with that T-rex website. They running that on dial-up, or what?
Anyway, I saw one in Daytona last year. I think they have a Hayabusa engine in them. Since the ass end looks like a bike, they even had pics with optional hard bags on it, since there is no trunk space.
Seems pretty impractical, but hey, if you've got the money to throw away....

It's actually powered by an air cooled Kawi 1100cc motor. But going by the specs, they've got that entire vehicle doing some pretty amazing shit!

the t-rex is made near drumundville (quebec) they been making them for close to ten years now and trying to make a market for themself didn't have the chance to drive one, but when i live in quebec city there was a club and most of the owners where saying that it's like driving an indy car or a formula one in the streets, in quebec they are considered as motorcycles.(you need a helmet).
