that is just pure awesomeness
I wonder how many 911 calls were made after the rider passed someone.
Anyone else think Mad Max?

Gives new meaning to the term "riding shotgun".

That's not just a regular shot gun, it's a friggen auto shotty, funky stuff!
That's not an auto, it's a pump-action. It looks like a Mossberg 500 with a folding stock and a muzzle mounted light.
Now if he were carrying this...
or this...
Then I'd be worried!

Most people would not know if a state has an open carry law for him it would be a pain in the ass if people don't know the law you know someone will call the cops hes going to get pulled over then have to explain what he is doing big pain for doing nothing wrong

So it is.. He's likely on 495/Capitol Beltway. Oooops. No, I-66 West. It's HOV. Stopped in traffic.
In all seriousness, what's the problem? I get rather sick of hearing "well guns scare people, what if they don't know bla bla". Their ignorance is not my problem. I don't currently have a plated bike, but when I do again I'll ride it to the range when I want to go shoot. If I plan on doing any rifle or shotgun shooting, why not throw the thing on my back on a secure sling?
lol that guy was worried about getting mugged
i agree with you completely.
the problem is that (in CT at least) the existence of a visible firearm can be considered 'brandishing' by some interpretations of the law, and while the charge may not survive the scrutiny of a courtroom, the arrest and charge looks bad on your record, and is often accompanied by the removal of all firearms from your possession, and loss of possession of your pistol permit for the duration of court proceedings..
bottom line, its just not worth the hassle

I know nothing about CT, but I can't see that happening in NH, where I live. NH is an open carry state, you don't even need a permit unless you want to conceal. It does suck this crap can be considered "brandishing" ANYWHERE, but I would be real surprised to learn it can in NH. It's not uncommon to see people walking around with guns on their hips, plain sight, shirt tucked in - what's the difference?
again, only in reference to CT.. but as i understand it, only an on-duty officer of the law can carry an exposed firearm here.
reminds me a of a quick story
when i was interviewing with the local police chief to get my town permit he told me a story about a guy from texas who moved up here and got his permit.. apparently the chief asked the guy in his interview if he knew what to do if he got pulled over in a car and had a firearm on him.. the guy's response was to "throw them them all up on the dashboard so the police know where they are"..
