My Yellow 2000 Triumph TT600 stolen from Bridge St in Springfield, MA on bike night Thursday. Last saw it at 10pm, was gone by 1am.
Looks just like this but the decal of black fading to yellow was removed and the front fender is yellow. Exhaust canister is literally a sheet of aluminum riveted together. Big dent in left side of tank. Bike is a beat up piece as I tell our fellow NESR riders. Too obscure of a bike for the parts to be worth anything.

That sucks man, I'll keep an eye out for anything. Best of luck.

Didn't have comprehensive on it so theft wasn't covered. Bike was pretty beat up already so it wasn't worthwhile. Anyway got it back as you can tell its really beat up now. They stole my rear seat and cowl, battery, fender eliminator + rear signals. The were nice enough to reattach my plate though! Apparently they just pried at the rear left side tail plastic to get to the back side of the lock to unhook the seat latch cable. Rear sets are both broken (left was a D650 one I put on the night before!), kick stand broke off, exhaust can is beat up again, various plastic scrapes, left rocket launcher missing now, right side was missing already. Front fender is smashed so the forks may not be straightIgnition was chiseled out so they could run it and have their fun.
Got the bike running and shifting now. Don't think I'll register it on the street again, not this year at least. I think I'll sell off my street parts and throw my track stuff on and get whatever replacement parts I need.

Buy my RC51...
Or my Brutale.
Better yet, buy both.
sorry... lousy way to end the riding season...![]()
Just the right amount of wrong... hehehe...
Well hell, that sucks.
Gotta ask, where did you get replacement rearsets, and how expensive were they? I have a friend with a track TT600 that needs a new set and I can't choke down what the local dealers want for Triumph OEM bits.
Edit: No chance of Homeowners covering the damage?

Kurlon tell your friend to buy these http://www.ebay.com/itm/GBMOTO-TRIUM...item20b6f5b3dd
I usually buy used rear sets but I pretty much have to scour the internet to find them. If TT600 parts move, I know about it. Bike wasn't at home when stolen so it wouldn't cover it afaik?

looks like it was probably a failed attempt at a burnout. I mean they did the burnout as the tire shows but bet that rash is from them letting go of the front brake in the middle of a burnout lol
Sorry about your bike man, really sucks. If it helps my 2008 was stolen about 2 months ago and then the 2011 I just replaced it with last month got backed into by my fiance's sister this past Saturday. It's in the shop with 3200 in damage![]()
I left my helmet hanging on the mirror but took my leather jacket with me thinking the worst that would happen is my helmet would get stolen. Luckily instead of wearing my carbon fiber helmet with transitions visor I wore my cheapo helmet since it was already dark when I left my house.

I carry full coverage on my bike and pay $350/year...seems a small price to pay for peace of mind.
The valuation they use for older bikes and the cost difference per year makes it not worth it if you plan on keeping the bike for more than a few years. Add in a beat-up bike that probably cost a grand and a half to get into and it stops making financial sense.
Gotta say though, I know Springfield and I am not at all surprised at this. Really shitty town, especially in that area.
