Paint work??

I need a couple covers painted black to match some stuff I am PC'ing...

Anyone know where I can get this done relatively cheap....I just dont want to be taken to the cleaners....I am close to Collision Pro's...you guy want to help me out?

I know one place in Cambridge that will paint those at a good price and will not take you to the cleaners....what area are you looking for?

He had a body shop in revere a couple years back, and i brought him a set of road rashed plastic in the fall and told him when a red car came in, just get an extra quart together and spray em for me.

For $300, he fixed all the road rash, two coats of a really nice red, a couple layers of clear, etc... it was awesome work! i dont know if he can do that again, but he may be able to do soemthing?

I can just mail my pieces down if you find someone.

There is a place near me that'll do a set of fairings for $500 maybe I'll just swing by them

300 was for a full set of fairings, which needed a lot of plastic/fiberglass repair work.


i cant imagine a small amount of nearly new pieces of plastic, all being coated the same color could be more than $100.

is there some reason you dont want the plastic powder coated as well? I thought it could be applied to plastics?

it can if it can survive 400 F degrees...I dont think thee things can..

that would look good. i love the z1000 i looked at one last weekend. i think they have a new color. a gold metallic sort of. oh i would lose the pee shooters too. maybe a nice 4 into 1 muzzy. but thats me

I like the look of the stock system. It is unique.

If they had a kit to do 4-into-1-into-4 undertail that could be pretty nice looking too though.

working on it the frame is already black..the little silver things are covers..it has a tube frame..I am PC'ing or painting pretty much everything sliver in that pic....

I actually really really wanted this one...but I'm just not into it any more..

it isnt a full system and it add almost no power.....plus the headers are still gold and the pipes are SS...looks weird

plus they will get in the way of my rear veiw camera

I would love to put a few pics of my paint work.but I still can not post pics on this site to save my life...can some school me on this issue and as for Empiregp, Bob does kickass work.I am sure if anyone had a problem with his paint he would fix it...He is cool like that.
