The way I learned it was:

Lane splitting: Riding between cars/lanes, on the white line. (wiki)
Lane sharing: Riding two abreast, two motorcycles in the same physical lane, both (at least theoretically) between the lines. (wiki)

Apparently I'm not only financially irresponsible, but I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. :punch: Gee, what next?!
