Scenario is this:
Person resides in NH but has signed up for an MSF course in MA. Does this or will this prevent them from becoming licensed or inhibit them in any way from being licensed as a NH MC operator?

No. There is reciprocation. Take MA pass completion paperwork (not the little insurance discount card) o the NH RMV and that should be sufficient.
Wow, two actually useful answers!
Yeah, but both of those answers were the same

Thanks for the replies.
Have fun and best of luck! I just took the MSF course in NH back in September. If you pass both the written and riding, they give you the MSF endorsement regardless of what state your from. We had a person from Mass and a person from Maine in my class.
Yep. CT is the msf snob state. They only accept it from CT. All the others should be interchangeable.

I heard a rumor that once he finally passes the MSF, he's headed down to NYC for a little midnight street racing.
The completion card is for insurance purposes, not licensing purposes.
Degsy's got it right. The site that facilitated the course needs to notify the state or give you additional paperwork to bring to them.

That's a common misconception. The MSF school motifies the RMV electronically of your pass. The out if state students need a special form to bring back to their state RMV for licensing. The little card is just proof for your insurance broker.Originally Posted by klp
