    07 CRF Head Qwestion

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew if my head from my 03 will swap to my 07. My 03 had all the work done to it and I think im having valve problems with my 07, it starts hard and wont idle at low speed. Went through the carb and tried a million different jet and set up settings. Thanks, Clarkzilla

hey dude, I'm not positive but I had heard the 06 or 07 and up just had smaller exhaust valves that helped with low end power? I think they would bolt up but I would maybe ask or search on thumpertalk.com. There are a few engine builders on that site that deal with crf's

Have you checked your valve clearances? From what I have seen on thumpertalk, any time you start to have trouble starting these bikes, it's oftentimes the valve clearances getting too tight due to valve seat wear... you might just need a shim/adjustment

You can search all of the part numbers on ronayers and see what parts fit what models.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Part numbers are different according to motosport.com. Checked both the cylinder and the head. Exhaust valves and cam are different part numbers also. That said, can't hurt to try.

the curve is differant the 07 pipe on the 03 head rests against the motor to much i think it dumps diff out of the head on the 03.
