so, today i walked up to my bike to take glorious ride on this glorious day, to see that the cover of my bike had a strange new tear on it. i thought that was odd, but didn't think much of it. i then proceeded to lift the cover off to find that the mirror was smashed off, the handlebars were bent, the rearset was bent. the passenger peg was bent, the crash bar rashed, the passenger rail was rashed. WTF!!! seriously.. i park it on beacon st. in the back bay in a parking lot. not near any bar arteries or near any traffic. and somehow someone found a way to smash my bike up. both sides have damage, which makes me believe that they dropped it on one side then while trying to upright the bike, it was dropped on the other side.
i really hope karma catches up to these fuckers.
my hypothesis on what happen is that it was a theft attempt, but they didn't expect the wheel lock, so they just smashed it.

moral of the story: there are no safe places to park in boston.
