Its actually about the same thing I'm doing now... only with less work. I've done the job before, when I went to Boston for a few months.

:scratchhead:
Yeah, happened while I was in the hospital and I didn't find out about it til I got back today.
:whoa:
Seriously?
:mecry:
Wow!
Congratulations Jackie  So exciting :D
Honestly...I suggest just taking a week off from work and traveling to Cali to check out each of these places. They are all located in the same vicinity. Here are my experiences with these places:
Burlingame - Nicer town and had a cool strip with shops.
Marin - ??
Palo Alto - There is the bad side of Palo Alto...I think East of 101 and then the decent side which is West of 101. I believe Menlo Park - Palo Alto is where Stanford is...someone correct me if I am wrong.
Roseville - ??
Sacramento - There is NOTHING to do up there. STAY AWAY.
San Francisco - Lively city and and depending on age...I would live here in a heart beat.
San Jose - Sister lives here...there's the nice part of San Jose where my sister is and then there is the low income area. Not bad to raise a family if that is what you're doing, hahaha.
Sunnyvale - Tech hub...or at least it used to be in the Internet years. Not a bad place but not sure about living there as a young adult.
Walnut Creek - ??
Overall...I don't know if you will find too many awesome roads in this area. I feel like it was a lot of side highways and streets. I definitely encourage you to take a week and travel over there and visit each location for a day and see how you like it. Talk to the local people and observe whether or not there are a lot of bums around. GL.
My final interview is today at 5:30. From what I'm told, I'm the only candidate they've decided to interview, so unless I completely blow it, I'm a shoe-in. Not sure when they would want me out there, my guess is May 1, but maybe June 1. We'll see!
you go girl! we'll miss you...
i hope your interview went well girl!
if you leave us we should have a "bon voyage to jackie" ride beforehand :)
I feel like a a rerun of the Mohawk trail/100 ride we did last year (minus the cops) will be in order before you go. Or perhaps 100/125/17 ride that we always tried to do but never made it all the way???
W E L L ???

How'd the final interview go?
Sorry for the delay, was waiting on final word. They called to confirm the relocation package today, all that's left is to figure out when I move.
