I feel a ban coming on.
You make a thread about your how awesome your wackass plate mount is and the overwhelming majority points out how wackass it is (it is). Everyone is wrong and you're right, though... confirmed by the fact that you were given the almighty inspection sticker. Not even GOD HIMSELF can mess with your wackass plate mount now.
So you make another thread (this one) waving your sticker in the faces of those who called you out on your wackass mount in the first place only to have the wackass status of your mount confirmed by the majority (again) and an actual law enforcement officer who was really just trying to do you a favor. You call him a moron, insult long-time members, etc.
Why don't you disappear you no-talent assclown?
:)

why is this thread still being posted on by people....lets just let this die now. ive heard all the advice i can possibly hear thanks to all. buddy go back and read the part where i seriously thank everyone for the advice and concern, yet other people felt the need to continue to say the plate is ugly blah blah. i tried to bring this to a civil close but people like you keep fueling the fire. dont bother to respond to me. just let it die
Ben, now that you got your plate kit sorted out, how about a nice A/C set up for your car?

Because you proven yourself to be a complete ASS and not be open to suggestions. You started the post and opened yourself to flaming... accept it or go away.
For me just the added suggestion of you may want to put it where it is supposed to be would be enough to move it... because say you get pulled over for going 15 mph over. You may just get a warning with the plate mounted correctly... but would more than likely get a ticket with the way you have it posted here.
dude i say screw it and remove the plate all together and then ride while drinking and smoking crack.
:spit:
i never thought a plate mounted on the side rear peg would casue so much drama
i understand all this "find something else illegal" stuff. but honestly...how many cops out there know enough about the legality of motorcycle directionals and mirrors, etc......and then, how many of those few are dicks enough to pull you over for it. i got pulled over once for the plate the was it was before(facing downwards), and the cop (town cop) was just like ok just go get it inspected soon. another time, after my plate was stolen, i had to ride with my new plate in my seat. i rode right in front of a statie for about a mile through my town, either he wasnt looking where he was going, or didnt know/care enough to do something.
in any case, thank you for the input, criticism or not. ill keep in mind that my bike might attract unwanted attention.
as you can see, for 3 full pages i took advice and thought about what people were saying. am i gonna go out and change the plate, no, but i will keep in mind that it is a risk. what else do you want from. at that point consersation shouldve ended but then idiot kept it going by repeating the same thing that were already said. people should try reading, or at least skimming through other peoples posts before saying things. thank you again for those who offered constructive criticism, and no thank you to everyone else:topicsuck:
