My office is moving from East Cambridge (easy bike parking) to Milk Street next week. Any tips or secret moto parking spots? I'll probably take my scooter for the first few weeks and scout it out, but if anyone has any pointers, I'd appreciate any help I can get. And if you have a super top secret spot you don't want the world to know about, I'll happily buy you lunch if you PM it to me![]()
I'd be interested to hear of options around the Pru/Copley. I don't mind paying...

weed clinic @ 21 Milk, just sayin.
Scooter parking at liberty square. It might not be totally legal but if don't have a plate who cares. You can try your bike there but good luck with that.
Anyone have parking suggestions in the Seaport/Fort Point? Just started a new job and would like to take the Hyper down there before it gets too cold.

Where at? There aren't many motorcycle spots over there that I know of, but there are some easy tricks. If you're on Seaport blvd, most of the parallel parking ends at an angle with the curb, and bikes usually fit in there. There are also some spots with super wide sidewalks where it's ambiguous if it's city of private; those are usually safe too. Look out for construction dudes parking their bikes; they usually have good spots. If you're way down by the IDB area I can share some more specific spots.

Ah yeah, lots of construction over there. You should also be fine to piggy back at the end of a row of spots on Seaport or Congress. If I think of it tomorrow I'll take some pics or at least mental notes when I'm riding in. I think there's a guy on a DRZ who's always parked over there.
Yeah that blows. I do a lot of lane splitting getting in and out, and ride my Navi when traffic is bad because it’s just easier to sneak around on. Truth me told my big illegal 180cc scooter registered as a moped was definitely the best city commuter I could have asked for.

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Yeah I'm about 20 miles from Salem to downtown. In a car at rush hour it'd be like an hour and 20. Breaking all the laws on my bike is like 40 mins, hence why I ride deep into winter.
So crazy. Even on the worst days it takes me an hour to cover my 40 mile commute. It's usually about 50 minutes in the morning on a typical day...
