I work in a hd dealer and just by reading that I can tell you there is nothing stock about that bike. A 124 motor is massive and the severe suspension work with the ohlins and actually RAISING the bike for better ground clearance. I can drag the kickstand/floorboards without trying at under 10 mph on those. That looks like an absolute hoot though.

Reminds me of the Goldwing that I used to see a few years ago at TTD's. I think he was a member on here? IIRC He was an instructor of some sort.

Kudos just the same. I found the whole HD lifestyle biker thing too stupid for words, but just when you think they are all clowns you meet someone cool. Taking that bike to the track - and a high speed one at that - is cool.

that is pretty impressive. especially b/c you can tell how into it all he was.

i read a few pages of comments; this was my favorite:

Looks like loads of fun, I am sure there were a ton of people out there thinking "WTF is that geezer-glide doing out here???" Then they heard the 124 and shortley shut the f___ up!
yes. i'm sure once everyone heard how loud the engine was they were all impressed.

That XR series isn't a bad idea. Spec class racing is always fun to watch. I just wish they televised it.

I give the guy props for hustling that tank around a track.

I can vouche for meeting just as many douche bags on sportbikes as cruisers......

Lol, gotta love the ones that wear the same riding suits as Ewen and Charley.

Almost puts them in the same boat as the Harley clowns.
