Does anybody know if heli bars have any warranty?
I was moving my bike in the garage, went to pick it up off the stand to roll it, and the left side bar bent like a twig. looks like it had a small crack right on the edge of the weld that finally decided to open up. I'm just glad that it happened in the garage instead of out riding.
i'd definitely at least contact the shop where you got it, but you might even want to go as far as notifying the manufacturer... you're lucky it wasn't out riding, but some poor guy/girl might find out it wasn't made really well the hard way. hope not, but it happens...
hurray, strikethrough!

Yep you should call Mr. Helibar and let him know what happened, if he cares at all about his product/reputation he'll want to look at the bar and try to figure out what happened. If it were me, I'd pay for you to send me the bar and replace it at no charge.
If someone's trying to save the company money by skimping on welding rod then the owner will want to know about it.

I didnt buy these new, they came on my bike when i bought it. I'm deffinitly going to email the picture to the company and let them know what happened. Hopefully its just a freak thing.
If the weld on my bars broke that easily, in the garage no less, there is no way in hell I'd keep the other one on there, let alone replace it in kind. Warranty or not, I guess that bad apple would ruin the bushel for me.
just my .02
