Nice ride today

I worked in Murray Hill, NJ Monday and Tuesday this week, and came home this morning. The weather wwas cruddy and I was gonna just slab it the whole way, but when I got to 84 in Brewster, NY, the sun came out and I started looking for a back road route home to southern NH. I took 7 north from Danbury CT, to Pittsfield MA, 8 north from there to 9 east in VT. Then I took 9 east to 101 east in NH. Not a bad ride. Parts of 7 in CT are quite nice. 9 east in VT is always a treat.

Rt 9 in VT is a blast. Nice long sweepers, mostly with slow traffic lanes while uphill going west.

I hit them on Sunday with a couple of newbies and they were grinnin ear to ear.

I went from route 8 all the way to Brattleboro without getting stuck behind anyone and without any police.
