I bet I'm smaller and I'm pretty sure I could lift that. I think I need 3 of them to hold all my old helmets though

FWIW - I just went to the Ikea store in New haven last weekend, for the first time. It was quite an adventure. They have at least 10 items that could be used as helmet showcases. To me, they are the "Old Navy" of the furniture world. Lots of bland colors, in unique shapes and designs, at inexpensive prices. I did not like their cafeteria style, self-serve furniture picking, though. My daughter bought a bed, and the bin system was in total disarray, with things not located where they should be.
The actual "Cafeteria" was interesting, though. I had never seen that in a furniture store before. There were a lot of people there!
Edit: There seemed to be a lot of things in the store, that I do not see in their catalog.

I foolishly took a ride to Ikea last Sunday, not realizing that every friggin college kid and their parents were going to be there. The shelf is no longer an in-stock item so special order only. $129 to ship it to is a huge FU and I don't live close enough to make the trip if I had it shipped to the store. Back to the drawing board.

Funny i just went to IKEA a couple weekends ago and bought one of the same glass cases that Sav bought $65. there were still some there too I didnt get the last one. it went together easy and my lids look good in it.Quote:
