so lets talk about this piece of shit (POS).
i hve thought about it before and found some answers from the registry. once you got the POS and all the parts tranferred over, the bike has to be inspected by the state. there are only handfull of this places. it's not a car inpection station at Joe's shop as i understand it. one of the requirement is that you have to have the receits for the parts you replaced. the receits are probly obtainable so it's doable. sounds like such a hassle.
any more bright ideas?![]()

Why haven't you tracked down the guy that sold it to you? I happen to think that of you started removing teeth and/or fingernails, he'd either pay you back or come up with your title.![]()
haha... removing teeth? i couldn't harm an ant.he was around for a while. that's waht the lawyer told me.

There's got to be some way to get the state to reissue a title.
Did you pay off his original loan? That's what it was right? Someone had a lien on the bike, you paid the guy for it, he was supposed to pay off the lien, instead he spent it onand
![]()
it was his loan and he never paid it off. there's no other name involved.

Yah by "someone" I mean the bank. AHFC or however...
pay it off and get the title or buy a frame with clear title and switch everything over to the clean frame.

There is usually an add in Walnecks for a lawyer who promises he can get a title for anything

Kham, I hassled that guy for a good 3 months for yah back about a year ago with no avail. He's just a piece of shit.
So what do you want for the f4i anyways??

You should be able to find a F4i frame for short money. Just switch it over. You could do it in a day easy.

Find out about getting the title re-issued from the registry by way of abandonment. Think there are some adds you have to put in the paper and a letter that has to be sent out. They can give you the details.....
Oh ya, tell them he left the bike with you for storage and never came back for it.....![]()

if the bank is the lein holder, then they can + will come reposses the bike, no matter what reason it is in his posession!
+ if the POS reported it stolen for his reason of not paying off the loan, then kham could be charged with grand theft auto, + that would be bad!!!
just buy a used or salvage frame w/title!!!!!!!!!!
i dont think they can reposs. the case was pending from the beginning. he couldn't have reported it as stolen. the lawyer told me i could keep the bike and will get the money.
on salvage title, as i stated above, the problem is gonna be getting the receits for all the replacement parts.
"fuckit!"
But that's why we are mentioning getting a clean titled frame. That bike was probably the most mass produced bike in years. There are definitely clean versions floating around that can be had for a small outlay...and then you'll have a nice saleable bike.

As said by Rye above me, get a clean title, you won't need to go into inspection if you get a clean title frame BECAUSE it's already clean.... inspections are only for salvage titled bikes that want to be issued a rebuilt title to be registered in the state of Mass. I'm 100% theres 1 around cause 600f4i's arn't that hard to come by. If all else fails, goto argo cycles or ebay or whatever.
Oh ya , did a quick search. Heres a clean frame with clean title for a cbr600. Just buy this, swap over your mechanical parts and stuff and then take the title to the registrar and register it like a regular bike. You'll be all set ... don't need inspection or anything.
Texas clean title is also shipped to you if you buy this frame..
