Aprilia is gone. Meet the new toy, courtesy of Seacoast and the Ducati promotion. Hope to have it very soon.

Oh, and nice bike.

Very nice, congrats on the new wheels. There was a nice white one up at Seacoast last time I was there. Hypers sure are getting popular...
On that note, a slightly off-topic question, in response to all the Hyper praise I've seen lately: Am I the only one that prefers the Monster 1100 to the Hyper? I mean, I've ridden both a couple of times, so I can definitely see the Hyper's appeal. It has slightly shorter gearing, but the Monster has a bit more power (5 bhp) and weighs less (22 lbs), which I would assume could offset the gearing difference.
I guess the Monster just felt like a better all around bike to me (better for street/track double duty?). It seems to fit me better, so maybe that has a lot to do with it. Plus I like the looks of the Monster over the Hyper tenfold. But again, my opinion. Anyone else?
Monster 1100 much better all around bike
Hyper - may smiles!!! But wouldn't want to ride it in the long term
kewl I r nvious

the only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.

That bike, a garage, a small space heater, some jergens, a Lamb Chop sock puppet, a box of mini wheats and I'd be a happy man.
Picked the Hyper up at Seacoast yesterday. Dropped the Aprilia on trade, and rode the new bike home. Wow. I'd only ridden a hyper once before, and it was a very short ride. I put 80 miles on yesterday and had a blast. Bike's power delivery is smooth...suspension felt great even w/out any tweaks...and it handles well, with quick flickability. In all...the bike is amazing. I put another 2 hours on it today, bombing around the Boxford/Hamilton/Ipswich area on some back roads. I can't say enough about how much fun this bike is to ride. I've owned many bikes in the past, including the Brutale (closest to this in terms of upright riding). This is more fun on back roads, hands down.
Props to Seacoast for working with me and getting the bike ready so fast. They are great...I hope more of us can do business with them.
