Another interesting question/thread that I saw on another forum:
If you had it to do over again, would you buy your current Motorcycle over again?
considering i just bought it...yep.
i consider it a stepping stone to where ill likely end up....on an adventure bike
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

The 300: in a ny second.
560: that's a little tougher call, but probably.

My 03 636 absolutely! Cheap just as fast or nearly as much newer bikes.
I've never regretted buying a bike, selling them's a different story.

Me -
1996 DR650 - No. Terrible in the dirt. Only OK on the street.
2004 KDX200 - Yes. Actually, this was my 2nd. The first was a 1998. Cheap to own and operate, and as reliable as a dirt bike can be, but the new 4 stroke 250's are tempting...
1999 Ninja 250 - Yes. A great bike, and a *lot of fun*. Super cheap to own and operate. If you are secure in your manhood, get one and see for yourself. The newer 300's must be *Magical*.

GS500- Again in a heartbeat. Loved that pig
FZ6- Yes I would. Learned a lot about riding on it without and overwhelming amount of power.
Street Triple- Almost brand new, so yes I would.
Yes, in a heartbeat. I have really enjoyed my DL650.
The Bandit 1200 I owned before was a different story. That bike and I had some rocky moments. Truth told, I think wish I'd bought an SV650 back then instead.
Not that it matters. What is done is done.
While my FJR is an awesome beast. It is almost too well refined. It lacks character. If I had it to do again I would go with the FZ1.
I would buy another SV 650 for the track in an instant. Oh wait. I did.![]()
The older I get the Faster I wuz
Current streetbike, 2012 RSV4, no, I wouldn't buy it again! Won't say i regret it, but I don't like it enough to buy it again.
Current dirtbike, 2011 KTM 200XCW, yes I would buy again in a heartbeat!
Yamaha
Yes, without hesitation.

Hmm.. The Explorer... I love the bike but it had several electrical issues. Triumph gave me a new bike so I didn't actually have to buy it again. I would.
Hmm.. The Speed Triple... Hell yeah!
Hmm.. The Thruxton... Without question!
Yes to the RC8 and RSVR
Maybe to the Husky te449. It's kind of a pig. It's not too bad when I'm riding it, just not a bike you want to be pinned under or carrying over something.
I just want to give a big honorable mention to the Stinger (SFV650) great bike! I wish I still had it.
Yes to my 1198

The FJR, no I wouldn't. Too much bike for what I want on a regular basis. Granted it was awesome for the Gaspe last spring, but commuting and breakfast runs it's too heavy. I'd love to get on an MS1200, but probably not in the cards for a few years out.
My last bike, the Falco. Yes, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and never, never let it go....
I'll list a few notables.
Drz400sm. No bought it new and it was lame.
Ktm 250/300. Fuck ya. Awesome bike.
Sv650. Fuck yes again. I want another one
Streetfighter. It's hard to say. It's an awesome bike but I never ride it. It's kind of a waste to own.
Street - Yes 2002 CBR600 F4i Great first street bike and still plenty fast and Comfy for street riding, now that I am getting into the track more than street I would have waited for a 600rr
Dirt- Yes 1996 CR125 Most reliable bike/anything I have ever owned I've had it for 8 years and have never done a thing to it. *Knock on wood*
I would buy the SV650 and Street Triple, but I am still on the fence about the Tiger 800. I love the bike, it just has too many quirks.
Absolutely!!
If you ain't first......you're last!
My F800ST I would I love the bike.
My old HD nope, the seating position sucked.
