Did Someone Say Ice?

I just posted this in the 'snowmobilers' thread:

I need a coupla of you sledheads to come pack down a trail in my backyard to the lake. I neglected my duties in maintaining my path to the lake and now it'll be damn near impossible to snowblow/plow it. It's only about 50 feet, but it's a decent incline/decline. We're ON Locke Lake and across the street from Halfmoon Lake, so there's plenty of riding for ya as we're connected to the trails. Off-road parking, enough for a coupla small trailers if needed. About all I have to offer in return is a place to unload & ride from, a warm place and tons of booze...

How are we looking Stoner? Are you ready for us to come beat in a track this Sunday?

If you wanna come up, bring floatation devices. The spot were I put the track is partially open & the shoreline in my backyard is muddy mush. There's open areas all around my lake right now. Not a good year at all for my lake so far...

My 8-year old son has told me in no uncertain terms that I *WILL* be doing another track this year on our lake. I believe the way he worded it was basically 'if you don't, I'll use your 4-wheeler and plow it out myself'...

Why do I suddenly picture you sitting next in a chair on the lake have a frosty one and a smoke, as Canan plows the track? I'm riding ice this year, yes I'm inviting myself up to your lake

I'm coming up this year for sure, still have my ice tires from my old 450, which fit nicely on the new 450:mrgreen:

I think it'll still be funny after 4-5...maybe 10 drinks to take your firewood and use it in the campfire ;)

All this rain should really work out to my advantage. Early on anyway. Already keeping a nice, clear path to the lake too. Let's just hope we don't get a shit ton of snow up our way. I may be too tempted to say ta-fuck-with-it and head out on the SnoPro instead... :spit:

Nice cold temps through the week, maybe a little precip the end of the weekend followed by more cold temps. Thinking I'll service the Rappy and get the ice tires on. May not even hafta plow the first few runs! Fingers crossed...
