Too often we can tell and it is for the wrong reasons...(i.e. no helmet, riding gear designed to reveal instead of protect, high heel boots)
I can usually tell, even with full gear :dunno: That majority of women have a different body position than men (due to lower COG), and if proper riding gear fits correctly, you should be able to see some semblance of curvature (i.e. leather should fit snug, which will show male/female in most cases). Then again, I do watch racers go roundy round a lot, so that may help.

Couple ways to tell if they are serious over there. Ask them what oil is the best and post a pic of a bike with an extended swing arm.

yeah, well..
I don't have a fetish for someone with a vaguely humanoid shape and a full face helmet.
Don't get me wrong.
I will certainly looks at a woman wearing gear that has more form than function but usually the first thing that enters my mind after the brief thrill of desire, is that chill and shiver that goes up your spine when you see someone get hurt.
Once you go down, it's hard not to see the potential for pain.
It ruins any appreciation of the female form that I might have that is revealed by the lack of proper gear.

First off I was obviously referring to a woman in gear. I'm not quite that oblivious to confuse a dude in a tshirt for a chick lol.
Second I'm not sure I understand what the heck your trying to say. You start out saying a woman in proper gear. If that is what you are referring to why would you feel that way? Do you get that tingly feeling when you see everyone on a bike? Or do you think a woman is more likely to crash? Sorry I'm not sure what your trying to say.
If you mean someone not wearing gear i agree completely but that feeling isnt limited just to woman. I cringe when i see anyone squidding it.

Bwaahhhhh.....got that message already!
Seriously, I am trying to be nice and remind myself often that if I have nothing nice to say, to step away from the keyboard.
I don't think this is going to take long, the ignorance in the group is just astounding!

I thought the answer to all such questions begins with "Icon."
I joined some rider group and they required a training class before going on a group ride, because they "wanted everyone to keep in formation." I unjoined. Cruiser mentality is something special: special in a short-bus kind of way....

Re: So I joined a women's riders group..
Meh why not just leave the group? You are clearly the odd girl out so to speak and don't fit in so why hate on them and just move on. To each their own

Who said I 'hate' on them?
I just don't understand them, and actually thought I should try to understand. It is kinda like trying to have a conversation with a 2 year old.

Sorry, I just meant that it would be like one of us on a harley forum. They aren't going to get you and you aren't going to get them so why waste your time. And the hate comment was more towards people saying you should fuck with them, it wasn't an accusation but advice to you. As in don't hate just walk away, and this is coming from a guy that can't stand idiots like them.
