Well I think I've decided to not go actually, sorry. Looking on eBay I can make enough profit from the sold out paddock passes to pay for the track day right there...Originally posted by bbhzx10
Craig, can you pick up Nakano hat while your there for me?? Please??
Plus, I did invite my bro to go to CA and he has been talking it up as a non-stop drunken weekend. And since I don't feel like babysitting...
Degs, while you're chasing Oreo-Pete, maybe I can tag along and take a gander too. Or course I'd better introduce myself first.

Yea Pete, but only 'cause Yellow had lots of riders. I could have gone either way, I'm sure I was on the slow end of the Blue group.
btw, I got some photos today from Owens, and he mistakenly sent me one of a super fast guy on a silver 1000RR (I think). If it's you, I gotta 10 meg file of you.

Hey smoothwaterman, that's me. If you remember, my friend (an older guy) and I were talking to you about your camera setup. We were bitching about how little trunk space we have on the 1000RR's.
Wanna hook me up with that file?
I'll PM you my email address.
edit: I forgot, I have a Yahoo account and I can't get large files. Can you host them on a site like Snapfish or Imagestation?
Dang! You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?
Aha! The masked man is unveiled. And you're right, I can't even email out a file that size with Adelphia.Originally posted by By-Tor

I haven't looked into any hosting sites like you mention, but if there is a preference I'll take a look.

Most free image hosting sites have a limit on file size - so if it's "f'ing huge" your best bet is to upload it here:
http://www.dropload.com/
Or some similar site.
If that pic is the same as this one, then I already have it. Thanks.

Id really love to do this trackday - work time off not an issue - but Ive never been and Ive got no way to get up there (im in Boston proper). Does anyone ride up to the track the day before - is it a lot of work to get the bike prepped that morning? How do others without trailors manage this.
Any thoughts?
Anyone going from this area who has room for another bike?
It's really not that much work. A little duct tape, remove the mirrrors and turn signals, and just check the tightness of your oil filter, brakes, etc.
I'll bet someone else is headed that way from Boston area.

Any chance someone has room for me or my bike to this event (im in Boston). I have not signed up yet but am eager to do so provided I can figure out the logistics.
Thanks in advance,
Manny

fer shizzle... very little work to be done. just a general once over on the bolts, pull the tail lights, tape the rest & secure/remove mirrors.... D U N, Done
every time i've gone to a trackday i rode some portion of the trip, arrived at the track & had my prep all done w/in 15 minutes. no problemo, amigo.
Manny, Chris & anyone else going that's from Boston... if i can't find a trailer up we can arrange some kinda group ride, but we'll have to leave early (like no later than 6am)

One of the guys I'm going up with is hooking us up the night before at his parents' place in Tilton, about 20 minutes from the track. Meet you at NHIS bright and early!
If you're riding up, and you want anything from Dunkin Donuts, put your order in now - I'll grab it on our way over there.![]()
