I would have to agree with you on this point. For the money, they are great sport-touring bikes. I would buy a Bandit 1200s for sport-touring (VERY comfortable) but I would NOT buy one for fast-paced twisty riding.
There are also a lot of performance parts available.

I wish Suzuki had handled the oil-burning problem properly!! It ruines a great bike...

Here is hoping I can hang onto what I have for this Summer... then next summer I can start looking again.. :)

Still.... crossing my fingers mine doesn't turn into a burner... (over 7K so far.. so good)

Just wish the SV1000s was a bit more upright... (or wait till the naked ver comes out with some accesories for fairings)
