The miss's and I figured we'd take the SV down to the cape today. Myself only been there once haven't the slightest clue on what there is to do down there except some nice semi twisty roads and really nice scenery. Anyone have any suggestions on anything to do down there? We may spend the night i'm not sure. We'll be leaving in a few mins but i'll be checking this thread every so often today with my phone.
thanks for any info

Youre wise to go now, as the summer season is over, and all the tourists are gone for the most part. Yet, most if not all businesses are still open. The Cape has become more year-round than it was 20+ years ago. It still shuts down, but not as much. Try going to Eastham and visit Coast Guard beach. If yer thinking of taking a dip in the Atlantic, they have showers there too. Or head down to Truro. Stay away from the upper Cape such as Dennis and Hyannis, etc. Way too overdeveloped and mostly devoid of that "Cape Feel." Try riding Rte. 28 into Brewster. Or head down to P-Town at the tip of the Cape. Very scenic and very gay! LOL. Or just take some side road and follow it to the shoreline for some other dunes and beaches. Have fun!

The tabs at the top offer other info on what to do, where to eat, etc.
I grew up on the cape, best thing to do on the cape is NOT GO!!
Hope this helps..
Party poopers!! Ok, the Cape can be a pain in the ass, but it has its good points too. Ya just have to know where to look...especially, like I said....its post-summer now. Ive always had good luck and Ive been going there since I was a kid. Its all in the perception, I guess. There's SOME good in the Cape! Hell, I got laid on a beach there! (sand wasnt a factor, either!) LMAO!!

it was 26bux each way for the ferry. so peaceful out there, roads weren't anything special but scenery was awesome. We're gonna head over towards hyannis tomorrow and gonna make a full round trip of the cape. Hopefully i'll have a good collection of pics when i'm done.![]()
