I gave it to my brother in-law when I joined the Coast Guard in '85 and he sold it sometime afterwards. That thing was a tank. It ran in any weather. I regularly rode it straight through the winter and it always started on the first or second kick.

i think i can do if you keep the cops off the road for me.

I think the max I've done in a day is about 350 miles or so, basically on a big tour of central Vermont, then over to eastern VT and back south.

Granted I ride a Z1000 (with Renthal Ultra-Low bars), but it's still a lot of riding on such a hard stock seat.

Meh, hang out in the fast lane and stop every 120 miles for fuel and to stretch your legs etc... I said avg speed on the interstate not avg speed for 600 miles.

about 650 miles on my ole cb350 honda from Littleton,NH to Patuxent River NAS... in Maryland..i was toast.
