So after my last track day, I ended up with a bent gear shift lever on my Daytona. Ordered it, picked up the part, and started to install the part tonight... and I busted the gear shift rod. It's a ridiculously simple part, but I don't know how I'm going to come up with it in time for Monday's track day.
Part 6 here if you're interested... http://www.bikebandit.com/2007-trium...7634#sch568058
It's an aluminum rod, threaded on both ends... except one end is reverse threadedSecond Wind in Merrimack doesn't have the part or the assy. it's part of and can't get it by Monday (they were the only ones open at the time).
Going to make some calls tomorrow, but I thought I'd try asking the masses. Any ideas?

Also, this:
The rods are all the same basically... just need to know the overall length.
I have a couple in my trailer, but not sure of the length... stock Honda 600rr length if you can find that online?
Also, www.streetandcomp.com will be at the trackdays. I bet they have an assortment, so contact them as soon as you have the length.
I got ya covered. Where do you live?
Never mind...I'll send it with michael weyant. Rsp racing #434
