^ i have lust
wait , what? moto guzzi makes bikes?
They're coming back in a mean way
ditch the mudflap and put a nice slip-on pipe and I'd take it
They look gorgeous, but they always seem to get mediocre reviews in the press. It seems they're better cruisers than anything else.
I think it's kind of ugly. I've never seen a Moto Guzzi I liked.

My father has a V10 Centauro. He bought it new in '99 or '98 I think. Lotta miles later and he still loves it. I rode it for the first time a couple weeks back. Motor is nice but TONS of torque effect on the frame due to lots of rotating mass. Hard to shift or blip the throttle in a corner without it changing your line. Suspension and brakes were the same as my Ducati 900SS, but it was setup a little nicer ergonomically. Nothing comfort-wise compared to my Rex though.
All the Guzzi's since have had the 2 valve head. His was a 4 valve which makes over 100hp. If they bring the 4 valve head back, it would be a much better machine. I've always had a soft spot for the Le Mans.
His looks like this, except it's gunmetal grey instead of yellow. He's been to MM with it a couple times, perhaps I'll drag him out there again on Thursday.

HEY!!! i resemble that remark. yeah i have a guzzi and i'm old.(er) lol.
my pic is the v8 guzzi they made in 56. it's the same one that honda paid a million dollars to look at. guzzi used to make lots of race bikes...
nice you beat that criminal charge. pfffft that's wasn't concealment.
i'd ask them about my rider history and beat any unsafe lane change ticket with the simple fact that it's a motorcycle NOT a car. i signal, i turn and look and no accident resulted. thread hijack over.
even the guzzi "sport bikes" seem more like standards. this past decade they made a couple 4 valve head designs and water cooling is coming. once tuned, 100 rwhp isn't out of the question; torque to match of course. the big four japanese bike makers still have the best bang for the buck. i kinda like the fact that mg can't make a million units per year, along with i don't drag hard parts going hot into corners. will i buy another goose? maybe, but it's been solid.
best thing though is when you meet another guzzi rider: it's a rally
+1 on the centauro and mgso1 above ^ thanks iglu, makes me all tearie *sniff
That looks like an awesome streetbike
