    Trailer opinions...

I'm looking to pick up a two bike trailer and I've narrowed it down to two options.

    Option 1
An all aluminum 5x8 utility trailer from Mission Trailers.

    Option 2
A custom open aluminum frame trailer from Pro-Lite Trailers with a marine grade plywood deck and diamond plate aluminum stone guard.

The Pro-Lite is about $500 more. This is my first trailer purchase so I'm interested in feedback on experience with either manufacturer and general trailer guidance.

    Thanks

6 x 12 Snow Bear Trailer from Home Depot

Buy a 6 x 12 snow bear trailer from home depot for under a grand. Full size wheels, minimal sway on the highway, built in ramp for loading with tie down holes already mounted into the framing.

Buy a spare wheel, a jack for the tongue and your in business. I pulled this behind my Volvo for 2 years without a problem, sturdy trailer.

Don't regret the purchase. If your creative enough you can put 3 dirtbikes, or 2 street bikes or probably a couple quads without a problem.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Phat. I'll check out the Snow Bear. How did the finish hold up during the winter?

I don't have a lot of room so the trailer will sit outside and I figured aluminum would tolerate that better than other materials.
