Riding solo
Part of a group and everyone got tickets
Part of a group and only I got a ticket
Both, cops love me!!!
Never
I've gotten that line a few times..
'so you're telling me officer, the person who described me didn't happen to mention my bright yellow and red suit, or that I'm riding a bright yellow bike with a bright yellow helmet.. ??..
All your paperwork seems to be in order.. have a nice day"

My worst ticket was with a group, and if i remember correctly, we all got tickets. It was a small town somewhere in Vt back in 2001..i remember the year because that's the last speeding ticket I got..knocks on wood.
The officer was rude and crude..and i'm not a cop hater
Everyone got a ticket for doing 60 in a 35 and i never so much as opened my mouth and he pointed to me saying I was the only 1 doing 61, and he wrote me for 61.
I've been stopped several times alone, been polite, had my info ready quick and they said slow it down, have a nice ride...well except one have me a written warning 2 years ago. So for me, riding solo has been more ticket free

I've been lucky, got pulled a bunch last year just reg and lic checks with no tickets. Never been pulled on a group ride. Was riding with a friend who only had a permit and a passenger on his "cruiser" they checked all my info but not his LOL Didn't even ask him for his lic.

Different ride but the one you were thinking about, Cheese and I were following the front of the group when I looked back and no one was behind me. I slowed down and backtracked as did Cheese. We found the cruiser and Cheese smartly turned around and got the hell out of there while I was focused on the guy who went off the road and ended up being pulled to the side by the cop. He later let all of us go. That's when we met back up with you guys on the back side of the hill and you burnt your leg on my exhaust pipe.
But to keep it on topic, I've been pulled over twice in a group and have zero tickets from them. To be fair, in one ride a guy crashed in front of the officer while being pulled over and the other ride had Kham in the front. I managed to get 2 tickets while riding solo and was able to beat one of them. So far I have better luck with group rides.

How do so many of you guys get pulled over in groups? When someone I'm riding with gets pulled, "I don't know them". I would hope they'd do the same.
When I'm riding solo and find myself moving past a cop a little too quick, I always make an obvious speed check and give the officer a little "whoops" wave.
They seem to like that and I'm convinced that it has gotten me out of several potential whoppers.
The one time I was pulled over was a group of 4... There were 2 cops that used their vehicle as a road block. I was far back with another rider and believe me, I thought about turning and taking off. It was my first NESR ride ever. I shortly learned they were worth stepping forward for. Oh, and I lucked out and didn't get a ticket. Luckily I wasn't paying attention and had fallen back when the cop actually clocked us.
If you ain't first......you're last!
great stories. mine is boring so i wont try.
"fuckit!"
No stories here really, I've been pulled over (75+ in a 50, lucky he didnt see me passing the cars in the no passing zone too!) and given a ticket for no insurance (he didn't ask to see my card and he was moving when he clocked me so he couldn't legally give me a speeding ticket) so I rolled right down the street to the barracks and presented the ticket and my insurance card to the old bitty at the desk, she photocopied my insurance card and took the ticket.
Been pulled over on bike, no tickets yet....
been pulled over plenty never gotten a ticket.
Only got 1 ticket. Fought it and won. The others, 4 or so, were verbal warnings, no write ups. Some respect helps I think and owning your shit. Laconia does have a nice looking LEO and she is good at knowing where to hide out
I'm starting to put the whole driving record together now.
