My bike is called "girl".
If I enter a corner a bit hot I mutter "whoa girl".
If I punch it up the on ramp I mutter "atta girl".
If I need to pull hard on the right lever I mutter "easy girl".

My logic.

My Evolution = Lacey (you notice her curves from a mile away, her...uh...body stands out, she looks like a thrill ride and will pin you to your seat when you hit boost, but piss her off and she will flip your world upside down, quickly.)

My Ninja = Lindsey (turn her on and your in for one hell of a fucking ride...end of story.)

I name my vehicles after ex's due to their personalitys. Dunno why, but it always seems to fit. I did it as a joke the first time (can't remember if it was my RX-7 or Talon TSi first) and for some reason stuck with it. Some funny ones over the years.

I've started calling the DR "the doctor". I have a new, much more awesome name that I'll reveal in a new thread in a week or so. Waiting for some goodies to arrive in the mail :D

Hm. So my EX, and an ex... bit heavy, lines I like and most don't, and more fun than imaginable... turn her on and it's bliss until she's back up on the stands or I'm pitched off and on my ass.

2 Possibilities here. One of them was the angry victim of the "can I tap that" thread. The other, actually more fun and I liked her more, so it'd be more appropriate, but I'd be afraid to make that association with my bike. I made enough mistakes with the girl, and I make enough mistakes with the bike, I see no reason to encourage the mistake trend.

Wonders if anyone I know personally is going to the races this weekend, and if I'm going to be hearing that name this weekend now

lol do you have a fat chick on the back or something? I laughed at the "noticing her curves from a mile away" and all i could think of was that pic floating around of the beast on the back of that poor guys bike.

My RMZ 450 is named "Herdy-Ger" because after Jen rode it she went 'it's like sitting on a tall giraffe' and apparently herdy-ger is the noise giraffes make :dunno:
