They waited till I called.. and told me it would still take 7 to 10 days to get them here... After waiting almost 2 weeks already...
They finally got here…. And oh my god those people that work there are idiots… They make this big hassle about I can’t have different vehicle types on the same transponder… So Fine I get 2… They show up and they have both vehicles listed on both transponders… MY GOD THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!!!
Heh, I just checked my account, and it's pretty funny too. A few times they've only gotten one toll trip, even if I've gone through twice (see also: Tuesday's trip to bike night). And then Wednesday the wife and I went up to Weirs for our anniversary and the little sign said "PLEASE CALL EZPASS" both times - both times we weren't charged, yet my account has $19.xx in it. I love this system!
My luck with them has not been that great so far... With my luck I'm going to make one trip on the Mass Pike and it's going to take every cent I have in my ezpass account...
HA! I FINALLY got mine. They didn't say shit about having an m/c and a cage on it. I've been using it all week, yet none of the charges (tolls) have been deducted from my account. Either their system is really slow or they haven't gotten to the 'Toll Collection' chapter in their software user's manuals... :D
I used mine on the Maine Pike 2 weeks ago and it took 6 days for it to be taken out of my account. Haven't used it in NH yet.
Mine was pathetically easy to order online, came quickly, is OK to use in two of my bikes and both my cars, and I have had no problems with signage or idiots at the Bedford tolls.
I can use it in the top half of my tank bag. It won't work in the bottom half of the bag; "Call EZ Pass" comes up on the sign if I leave it there.
I don't normally take the highway to and from work when on a bike, but it's nice to be able to do so without the hassle of getting the bike stopped, in neutral, and then fumbling for money with gloved hands.
I go to NJ often and I am so looking forward to using EZ pass on the Mass Pike, the Tappan Zee Bridge, and the Garden State Parkway. NJ is methodically replacing their old GSP toll booths with EZ Pass lanes you can breeze through without slowing at all. Should lop at least 45 minutes off typical 6 hour/350 mile ride.
It must suck to live in a state that has toll booths. :poke:
Not nearly as much as it sucks to live in a state that has sales tax, outrageous gas prices, ridiculous speed limits and enforcement, nasty oily gravel shit to fix potholes, Hartford, Bridgeport, all them yuppies, ummmm should I go on? :D I grew up in CT I'd rather gouge out my own eyes with a spoon than move back :twofinger:Quote:
