Took advantage of the weather today and went for a 100 mile tour! It's been a long month since I last rode.
(Saw only one other motorcyclist out there today. Some guy on a R6, wearing shorts no less)
Nice...it was wicked windy earlier....!

I did my 100 miles yesterday when it wasn't quite as windy.

Impressive. I rode 30 miles back and fourth to work and I was cold.....both times.
All I had on were my heated grips. My IXS jacket has a good zip-in liner so I didn't need the Gerbing electric jacket liner or gloves. My Fieldsheer overpants also have a good liner, so just blue jeans underneath were OK. Thick socks and polypro sock liners in the Dainese WP boots kept my feet warm, and the Held gloves with insulation on the outer part of the hand are fairly windproof.
Only when it dips below 35ºF do I don the Gerbing jacket liner and gloves.

I put in 200 miles for the weekend. About 120 yesterday and 80 today. I passed one other BMW 650 yesterday and a DRZ today, that was it for bikes spotted.
Did a quick 20 minutes Saturday to try out the new leathers and an hour sunday cuz it felt so nice out.

I did a nice NH coast ride on Sunday. I did not see any other bikes, but I did see a unicycle and some snowmobiles.
Is it just warmer over there NH way? I got out Sunday before last, but it's been negative numbers almost every day since here (VT). I think we're paying for the gloriously mild winter we had last year.
