SInce I came back to India, I had been working with my family business and did not get down to getting a new bike. But I recently got a new job and a new Bike.
The bike is from Bajaj and is called the Pulsar 220. Here is small video of the advertisement. It has a top speed of 144 kmph per hour and fastest bike 'produced' in India because we have Yamaha R1, VMax etc selling but they are all imported.
A Pic and a video!

well...its a 220cc bike made by an Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj. They look kool for what they are.
And no....they are not expensive. this one is for around 80,000Rupees(INR) or around US $1700. it has a 220cc, 21.xx hp engine, with carbs (a previous verson had FI which was a lil more costlier)
Many of its features were a first in the indian market when the first pulsar 220 was launched a year ago ....like disc at the rear, digital speedo, clip-ons, projector headlamp etc

Diggin it man....congrats
I think Srikar answered most of it. I will say they are quiet versatile though Some Indian bikes have won both track races (not SBK class of course) and Raid de himalayas - a rally in mighty himalayas going through passes at 15,000 ft.
Yup! Its dirty already. Indian Monsoon!![]()
Thanks fellas! Bajaj Bikes already sell like hot cakes in Brazil and some other LA countries. Though I did see a Bajaj Chetak scooter at Boston Motosports.![]()
