I get a call from the PD and tell me my bike was recovered in wisconsin with texas plates . have bike will travel I guess ,no word on what it looks like and cond. but the officer said it was yellow and blue now. I can only imagine how many miles are on that bike now if its the same motor. anyway I was thinking of buying it back and use it for a track bike but no telling what condition its in. plus what it would cost just to ship it back.I dont know if it worth it?

I'd call that one a write off. Way too many things could have happened to that bike...
hurray, strikethrough!

Glad to hear they recovered it, I guess. My biggest fear is that my bike will get stolen and recovered shortly thereafter, abused of course. Kinda like kidnapping your girl & raping her...in both cases I think just killing the victim is the best way to go. I definitely wouldn't buy her back after someone else (specificially a thief) has had their way with her.
I searched your posts but didn't see a thread about the theft? More info or a link perhaps? What kinda bike, where/when taken, etc?
01 gsxr 600 stolen about 1 year ago from my shed , they had enough time to do what every they wanted to her . and yes im letting the ins . co. deal with it since they already have title and key. there problem now.

see if the PD is willing to add the charges of shipping it back to the guy they arrested for the theft....unless they just found the bike and don't have anyone...then I'd forget about it.
Bras cause cancer.
Maybe it is better shape....how did they get it plated?

That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.

Umm yea, it was clearly a joke...'cept maybe the killing her part, you really wanna deal with those psychological scars? Me either.
