not an expert but you should speak to someone directly that knows. i think you have to be careful with the paint you use doesn't attack your what helmet's made from. give Hellion Designs a call. the dude's an artist with helmets. maybe he can give you some pointers on what and what not to use for paint. 1-413-568-1638 here's some of his handiwork.
can't we all just get along? the snake. ssssss!
yeah.. thats what i want to double check on the most, the paint i use.
so i dont make the plastic brittle etc...
hmmmm......

well i already started..
sanded the helmet down yesterday with 600 grit paper and taped up everything( vents, visor etc)
went to the hobby shop and started askign ?s
turns out one of their custoemrs is a fellow who paints motoryccle helmets goalie masks etc.
so i bought the testors model paint spray can.
i primerd it thsi mornign , will primer 2 more coats.
i wont tryo to do naything fancy jus a solid color silver grey or black or a dark red.
Might get Mshap to cut soem vinyl graphics to give it some character as well then clear coat it 2-4 coats.
i'l post results.
